Emergency Service Partners, L.P. today unveiled a newly developed evidence-based risk identification and risk solution program for its providers. SafetyCore Logo

The SafetyCore™ Program, in partnership with EB Medicine, replaces The Sullivan Group audit and CME product.

"SafetyCore is designed to more effectively address the malpractice risk issues specific to our practice," said Dusty Otwell, Director of Risk Management and Associate General Counsel. "The program will feature risk management modules addressing the prominent issues specific to ESP emergency departments, as revealed by our risk data analysis."

For 2012, the SafetyCore Program will include introductory video on customer service, critical thinking, communication, and best practices, plus five required modules: Neurological, Cardiovascular, Abdominal Pain, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics.

Each module will contain a short video produced by ESP, an article selected from EB Medicine, and CME questions customized by ESP with risk management information. The first module and introductory video will be published in March, with the remaining four videos published monthly thereafter.

The SafetyCore program will be hosted on the EB Medicine website. ESP providers should go to the "Risk Management" tab of the ESP member site and click on the EB button.

In addition to the SafetyCore™ modules and videos to be published later, ESP providers may take advantage of the EB Medicine CME library at their convenience.
