Emergency Department

  • Projected Opening: September 2012
  • ED Beds: 10 (9 exam rooms and 1 trauma room)
  • Shifts: Single-coverage, 12- or 24-hour shifts
  • Qualifications: BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

  • Comprehensive imaging, including CT and ultrasound
  • Full laboratory
  • Respiratory therapist on site
  • Teleradiology

The Christus Santa Rosa Emergency Center is a free-standing emergency department affiliated with the downtown Christus Santa Rosa City Centre. As a satellite department operating under the main hospital's license, the facility is EMTALA compliant and meets all the same construction and operational requirements as a traditional hospital ED. Therefore, transfers are easy when patients need to be admitted.

Christus Santa Rosa Emergency Center is part of the Christus Santa Rosa Health System.
